Kingdom in the Valley Christian Church was founded by Pastors Reginald and Kelley Steele in January 2005 in El Mirage, Arizona in a local rental hall. Close to 100 people showed up for KVCC’s first service and from that number 37 people decided to stay and help grow the small church. With a vision to build God’s Kingdom one family at a time, the heart of the ministry began to beat focusing on teaching and preaching relevant, relatable messages from the word of God. It was not long before the small congregation grew out of the hall and had to relocate to a larger facility; the elementary school across the street.
Moving to the school grew to 800 people in less than 2 years. Faithful members dedicated to setting up and tearing down the mobile church as God continued to multiple the ministry. After years of holding church in the city of El Mirage, God opened up a 22,000 square foot campus in Litchfield Park, Arizona. There, KVCC continued to see exponential growth and expanded its’ ministry to 4 weekly services to keep up with the attendance.
With a desire to touch more people for Christ, Pastor Reginald Steele started a television ministry airing weekly broadcasts on Sunday and Wednesday services locally on Sunday evenings. To date, the weekly television program ‘Making a Difference’ is viewed by an estimated 20,000 people. Hundreds of people have accepted Jesus and have made new commitments to Christ by calling the prayer line that is shown through out the duration of the program.
Kingdom in the Valley has been recognized as one of the fastest growing churches in America by Outreach Magazine (2009, 2010, 2011) and the Pastors have been featured in Gospel Today Magazine, frequent hosts of local Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), featured guests on national Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), interviewed on AZTV Morning program, and even appeared on the nationally televised game show Family Feud (2012).
KVCC moved into a 42,000 square foot building located in the heart of Phoenix in January of 2012 and has continued to grow as a ministry with over 10,000 church members and a weekly attendance of over 4,000. People, young and old, have continued to allow the word of God to change their lives with the effective ministry of our Pastors and leaders of Kingdom.
